This register provides the technical information required by Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the Data Act). The exhaustive categories of Exportable Data and Digital Assets, and the contractual provider-switching process, are described in the Data Portability and Provider Switching Annex.
The Register describes the current technical capabilities and may be updated as Routena introduces or improves the export functions. Updating the Register cannot reduce the mandatory rights of the Client provided by the Contract and by applicable law.
1. Available methods and limits
Standard exports are generated from the application in CSV or XLSX, using the available data selection, filters and date range.

2. Online register of data structures and formats

CSV exports use UTF-8 with a BOM, a comma delimiter, CRLF line endings and a header row, following RFC 4180 conventions. Dates use YYYY-MM-DD, and date-time values use YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss. XLSX exports use ECMA-376 Office Open XML and contain the same selected columns and rows in a worksheet.
Internal security logs and provider telemetry remain excluded, except where they are necessary for understanding the Client’s Data or constitute audit records intended for the Client.
Passwords, authentication secrets, tokens and password hashes are not exportable, being security credentials, not business data of the Client.
3. How to request an export
Standard exports may be generated directly by an authenticated user who has access to the relevant data. Each export is limited to the Client’s data.
4. Limitations
The standard exports do not cover every category listed in the Data Portability Annex. No standard bulk document-download package is available. Policy documents are downloaded separately, and the per-vehicle report excludes live GPS positions and telemetry, monitoring alerts, documents, fuel cards and tachograph data.
Routena internal data protected by intellectual property rights or constituting trade secrets are excluded to the extent that the exclusion does not prevent provider switching, as are other clients’ data. Internal security logs, provider telemetry, passwords, authentication secrets, tokens and password hashes are not exportable. Routena does not guarantee direct compatibility with the destination provider’s system.
5. Legal basis and last technical update
This register applies Article 25(2), points (e)-(f), Article 26 and Article 30(2)-(6) of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854. Its version and update date are displayed in the document header, and previous versions are kept in the legal archive.
