1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how SPECTRALAB SOLUTIONS S.R.L. (“Routena”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the presentation website www.routena.com.
The policy refers to the presentation website. The Routena application (app.routena.com) is not subject to this policy; it uses technical mechanisms necessary for providing the service (for example authentication and local storage). The processing of personal data is described in detail in the Privacy Policy and on the GDPR page.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember actions and preferences (for example, cookie choices) for a certain period. We also use similar technologies (for example, local storage in the browser) with an equivalent purpose; in this policy we refer to all of these by the term “cookies”.
3. Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies are always set, because without them the website cannot function properly. All other cookies (analytics and advertising) are set only after you give your consent through the cookie banner.
Until you give your consent:
- no analytics or advertising cookies are set;
- Google Analytics runs with Google Consent Mode, with the default value “denied” for all storage categories; no cookies are set until your consent, but aggregated, cookieless signals may be transmitted;
- the Meta (Facebook) pixel is not loaded at all.
In the banner, the reject option is as accessible as the accept option, and the non-essential categories are not pre-checked.
4. The categories of cookies we use
| Category | Set | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Always | Operation of the website, remembering cookie preferences, form protection |
| Analytics | Only with consent | Aggregated statistics about how the website is used |
| Advertising | Only with consent | Measurement of campaigns and conversions |
5. Detailed cookies
| Cookie or technology | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cc_cookie | Routena (CookieConsent) | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choices | up to 6 months |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Anti-bot token on the contact and offer forms | at session level |
_ga, _ga_XGDLWN1JXM | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions | up to 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors | 24 hours |
_fbp | Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Advertising | Measurement of campaigns and conversions | up to 3 months |
The durations are those indicated by the providers and may vary. The Meta pixel is loaded exclusively after consent for the advertising category.
6. Third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — the storage of cookies and cookie-based measurement are enabled only after consent; before consent, cookieless signals may be transmitted through Google Consent Mode, if this configuration is active.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — advertising measurement, loaded only after consent for advertising.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) — anti-bot protection for forms, strictly necessary cookie.
For details on how we process personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
7. How to manage your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- through the “Cookie settings” button in the website footer, which reopens the preferences panel;
- from your browser settings, from where you can block or delete cookies.
If you withdraw your consent, the analytics and advertising cookies are marked for deletion, and the non-essential scripts are no longer reactivated. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the operation of the website (for example, submitting forms).
8. Legal basis
The storage of and access to information on your device are governed by Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, in conjunction with the GDPR. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent for the storage of or access to information on the device, to the extent that they are necessary for providing a functionality requested by the user or for transmitting the communication. The processing of data associated with the security and operation of the website may be based on legitimate interest, under the conditions of the GDPR. Analytics and advertising cookies are used exclusively on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as we modify the tools used on the website. The current version and the date of entry into force are displayed in the document header. The changes apply from the date of publication of the new version.
